As a Board Room Advisor, Dana along with other qualified Advisors, facilitate meetings and assist groups to maximize their time together. The BoardRoom provides a setting for successful leaders from diverse, non-competing industries to gather once a month in a confidential, problem-solving meeting with up to 14 business owners, company presidents, and CEO's.

 

This meeting is an afternoon Think Tank session, and is focused on business opportunities and challenges. Each member is focused on assisting his or her colleague and in return, expects only that they will receive the same sound, thoughtful, selfless advice for their opportunities or challenges.

 

BoardRoom Advisors also facilitate our Focal Point Private Coaching with each member, each month,  focused on the individual member’s needs. The Advisor is an objective trusted business coach offering advice, insight, accountability, and support.

James R. Graham - Company Board Advisor

 

James has served as an Advisor since the BoardRoom's inception. His leadership, council and insight has been, and will continue to be a valuable asset to the company and it's members. Jim brings to the BoardRoom decades of proven management experience as well as being a successful entrepreneur.  

 

Jim is President and CEO of Greenberg Graham Advisors, LLC

For the past 30 years, Mr. Graham has counseled clients on all aspects of wealth management, including advising families who desire to prepare subsequent generations to be responsible stewards of wealth.  He has an extensive background in the areas of investment planning and management, estate planning and income tax planning.  His clients have included successful entrepreneurs, senior executives, entertainers, professional athletes and beneficiaries.

 

Prior to his founding Greenberg|Graham Advisors LLC in 2003, he held senior positions with some the country’s most respected financial services firms, including Director and Senior Client Advisor with Loring Ward Capital Management Inc. in Los Angeles, California; Director of Investments at myCFO, Inc.; and Southwestern US Regional Director at Deloitte & Touche Investment Advisors LLC.

 

Mr. Graham received his bachelor degree in finance from Brigham Young University and has completed extensive post-graduate coursework in his professional field.  He and his wife are active in their church and community supporting organizations that protect the interests and well being of children of all ages, and organizations who provide services to US military veterans and their families.

Tom Sparks - Company Board Advisor

 

Tom has served as an Advisor since the BoardRoom's inception. He has also been a Member of our TEAM Peer Group since 1986 . His leadership, council and insight have been, and will continue to be a valuable asset to the company and it's members. Tom brings to the BoardRoom decades of proven entrepreneurial excellence as well as being an expert councilor and advisor .  

Tom is the Managing Partner of Sparks Enterprises, LP

Tom grew up in Newport Beach, graduated from Newport Harbor High and went on to Cal-State Long Beach obtaining his BS in business with a specialization in accounting. 

 

Tom went to work at Grant Thornton in 1968, becoming a CPA in 1970.  In 1971 he started what eventually became Sparks, Nelson and Jacobson, CPA’s which he retired from in 1994. Also in 1994 he sold Laserfast, Inc., an income tax preparation software company that he and his partners had started in 1985 and built into one of the leading California software companies of its kind. Tom was a founding Director of Orange Coast Savings and loan which was sold in 1986.

 

Since 1994 Tom has been working part time overseeing family real estate and doing some commercial real estate redeveloping in Southern California.

Tom’s wife Gerda is a retired Physical Therapist. They have been married 45 years and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.  

George T. Naegle -  Company Board Advisor

George  has been involved since the inception of the BoardRoom bringing insights and direction to the company's market capabilities and professional standards. His business insights range from defense litigation to Risk Management.

Mr. Naegle is a shareholder at Richards Brant Miller Nelson, a Professional Law Firm. George specializes in the defense of physicians and hospitals in Medical Malpractice Claims. He has spent more than 15 years as a trial attorney in personal injury, products liability, employment and construction defect cases. Over the course of his career, George has taken on several high profile cases, many required in-depth medical knowledge. In his current practice, George represents Intermountain Health Care facilities and physicians, as well as physicians insured by UMIA Insurance, Inc.

George contributes to several committees and played several leadership roles involving management of the firm.

 

George and his wife Angela have 3 married children with several grandchildren.
