The BoardRoom Experience

Utah's Premier Executive Think Tank

There are many peer groups scattered throughout Utah under several different banners, but there is only one amongst them that truly stands out. With our beautifully appointed Boardroom meeting space, membership includes all meetings hosted by the Boardroom at our facility.  All of our Think Tank groups are lead by top business executives with years of real world experience who also serve as your personal advisor.

Group Members Meet Monthly at Our Facility

Shorter Meetings, Greater Results

As a BoardRoom member, you have continuous access to other non-competing CEO’s and senior business leaders with whom you can share varying perspectives and experiences. The BoardRoom offers you a confidential, dynamic Think Tank where you can address significant issues, concerns and opportunities while receiving honest, impartial feedback in a peer group environment, with no other agenda in mind other than to help you succeed in your business.  The BoardRoom methodology has provided countless CEO’s and business executives with the knowledge for building stronger organizations, achieving greater success and allowing more time for family and self.

Private individual coaching sessions with a seasoned Advisor are provided every month for one to two hours without distractions at the members chosen facility. This is the time to help each member uncover strengths, weaknesses, needs, issues or opportunities.

It is also a time to discuss such topics as expansion strategies, hiring, training & firing, compensation plans, exit strategies, succession, organization structure & culture, M & A, outsourcing, business plans, reorganizing and life/work balance.  Focal Point Private Coaching provides a confidential atmoshphere to discover new ways to work towards becoming a more effective leader and make better decisions.

Six Expert Presenters Per Year
Speakers, Insight and Enlightenment

Information and experience are the key elements of any successful company. Many business owners and CEO's may feel their organizations are out of control, their people are underperforming or they are no longer able to effectively manage the rapid growth of their business.

Recognized experts on critical business topics deliver fresh perspectives and practical insights that inspire breakthrough ideas — all in a small group environment, six times a year during our regularly scheduled meetings at The BoardRoom.  The two hour workshops are tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual Think Tank.

The Peer Camaraderie Effect
Friendship, Trust and Confidence

"It's lonely at the top." This is a common phrase associated with being a business owner or senior executive. Communicating with people who are sharing the same experiences as you is not only refreshing, but often produces long term freindships and associations.  Getting involved and participating in each others business issues and opportunitities builds trust and creates a lasting bond.

"I have been a member of my group since 1986. Members who have long since retired, still come back and make visits to talk about what the've been up to as well as share great memories and experiences."

"Peer groups ensure that members take the time to think about their business direction.  The CEO group serves as a sounding board for future growth strategies and the effect of competitive and market pressures. While the CEOs in the peer group may serve entirely different types of customers in varying industries, they share common challenges regarding employees, growth, profitability, executive development, technology and uncertainty.  Once they begin the conversation, it becomes apparent how much they have in common and how much they can learn from one another."
